New Super Mario Brothers Wii soared past the 15 million mark this week, becoming the fastest-selling single-platform game to ever reach this milestone. It did so after only 32 weeks on the market, eight weeks faster than the previous record-holder, Wii Sports Resort.  This makes it the sixth Wii title to reach 15 million sold, and just the 22nd game of all time to do so.

In just seven months on the market, New Super Mario Bros Wii is currently the sixth-best-selling Mario title of all time.
