Electronic Arts announced today it will be releasing a dowloadable prequel for Dead Space 2. The game will be released on Xbox Live Arcade and Playstation Network the game will be called Dead Space Ignition with a release date of this fall.

Dead Space Ignition gameplay combines an “interactive comic-style story with unique hacking mini games”. According to EA the game brings “choose your own adventure” that will take the player on there way to discover four different endings. Each ending unlocked will reward the player with special in game items, exclusive suit that can be used in Dead Space 2 when its released on January 25,2011
