Ever have a significant other, or maybe a friend lock themselves in a room for hours on end? Is that person a gamer? Well if this is the case it is probably because of RPG’s. RPG’s provide hours of gameplay and at times keeping ourselves locked in our rooms till we finish them. If there is a reason your significant other or friend is locked away for hours and maybe not answering their phone? It is probably because of the greatness that comes from RPG’s. A women’s love for RPG’s can earn them the title of the geek class of gamers. From the community, to characters, to even changing the story, RPG’s is one type of game that women have to get their hands on! RPG’s set the standard of the gaming world today, and women love to have the freedom of making their own adventures. It’s no surprise more women either have been playing or are just getting into RPG’s. Hey its better than playing a boardgames! So watch out men! Don’t be surprised if you women friend or significant other ignores you for a while as she’s breaking the rules within RPG’s.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is an action role-playing open world video game developed by Bethesda Studios. This action role-playing video game is the fifth installment in The Elder Scrolls game series. The game was released for all platforms including PC, Playstation and Xbox. The story of Skyrim revolves around a developed character of the players choosing on his or her efforts in defeating Alduin, a Dragon who is prophesied to destroy the world. Women love Skyrim because the player can explore any part within the game including the land at will, ignoring or postponing the main quest. This allows the player to do multiple different side missions allowing for multiple hours of game play. In addition, women love playing Skyrim because the player can have their character be a female lead. This allows the player to have a personality within their character. The woman does not have to be a mean fighter to play it tough in a man’s world. Skyrim allows the woman to play as she is, allowing her every different aspect on how she feels she should be viewed within the world of Skyrim.  Finally, Skyrim allows the woman to escape to her own fantasy world and allows the player to have realism within that fantasy world. Throughout the game, your character can buy a house, join a brotherhood, and even get married. I know countless number of women who spend hours just organizing their house. Guilty!

Final Fantasy VII

Final Fantasy VII is a role-playing video game developed by Square as the seventh installment in the Final Fantasy series. Released by Sony PlayStation and PC this game had a lot of firsts for a RPG. Final Fantasy VII was the first game of the series to use 3D computer graphics and was the first game of the series to be released in Europe. Final Fantasy story follows protagonist Cloud Strife in his quest to stop the world-controlling megacorporation Shinra who are draining the life of the planet. Final Fantasy gained the hearts of millions. This is one reason multiple different women love the story. Final Fantasy was one game that a lot of us grew up with as a child. In addition, Final Fantasy provided an exceptional story, exceptional game play, and a love for all the characters. Women get so deep into this game that today Final Fantasy is still one of thee top video games that is still enjoyed till this day. Final Fantasy engrossing story line keeps the gamer guessing and surprised. The battles allow multiple hours of engrossing game play, and the visual aspects take a players heart away. In addition, women also love the game because of battle system set up which allows a challenge in the concept, but still offers a lot of fun. Final Fantasy is also very emotional, and allows the women to get touch with her feelings. The multiple hours of game play has an enigmatic way of making the player very addicted to it. Lastly, the music in the game is very griping allowing the game to stay forever in the hearts of gamers. Yes got some tears in my eyes!
