Call of Duty Collaborates with Anime, Jormungand

The October issue of Sunday GX,  a Japanese manga magazine, had announced that Keitaro Takahashi’s manga, Jormungand, which was recently adapted into an anime, was working with a “hugely popular” game. Today, a billboard in the popular Akihabara district was seen advertising a “Joint Operation” between Call of Duty: Black Ops II and Jormungand. There are no details on what the partnership will entail.

Jormungand is an action-packed series that follows Koko Hekmatyar, a young arms dealer, and Jonah, Koko’s newest bodyguard and child soldier. The manga for Jormungand ended earlier this year, while the second season of the anime, titled Jormungand: Perfect Order, is set to premiere on October 10th.  Call of Duty: Black Ops II will be released on November 13, 2012.
