RONIN Strikes from the Shadows, Avenges You in the Face June 30

Katana-wielding publisher Devolver Digital and razor wire enthusiast Tomasz Waclawek announced today that the turn-based ninja platformer RONIN will emerge from the Early Access shadows on June 30. Last month’s Early Access assassin propelled revenge-seeking fans into a feedback frenzy as they worked with developer Waclawek to make the final tweaks to the game, perfecting RONIN for PCs everywhere this month.

RONIN and the RONIN Digital Special Edition will launch on Steam, GOG, and other digital services with 25% off the $12.99 / £9.99 / € 12.99 price for the standard game and $19.99 / £14.99 / € 19.99 price for the Digital Special Edition. The RONIN Digital Special Edition includes the game, an exclusive full-color digital comic, and the full original soundtrack in both MP3 and FLAC formats.

Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward Launch trailer


Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward is set to release on the 23rd this month. This new story has players partaking in the Dragonsong War, a bloody thousand-year conflict. This conflict is between the knights of Ishgard and the dragons of Dravania.

There are new features that are added to the world of  FFXIV as well as expanding the playable areas.  The expanded areas are: Eorzea, beyond Coerthas Central Highlands and into the skies above the Sea of Clouds. The Level cap of 50 has been raised to 60.

New added features:

  • New race: The Au Ra
  • New city-State: Ishgard

KUNG FURY Greatest Movie EVER!!!


Kung Fury is an over-the-top 80’s action comedy that was crowd funded through Kickstarter. It features Kung Fury, a Kung Fu renegade cop who travels back in time to kill his Nemesis, Hitler. The film features nazis, dinosaurs, vikings and cheesy one-liners.

The campaign that was launched in December 2013 was backed by more than 17 000 people who together gave more than $630 000.

Beginning today, the Vancouver-based Xbox team working on the Gears of War franchise will be known as The Coalition. What’s in a name? In short, The Coalition speaks to who we are as a team, and what it is we’re working on.

A coalition is a team of diverse individuals working together for a common purpose, a concept that we feel describes our studio quite well.

Fans will also recognize the Coalition of Ordered Governments (COG) from Gears of War lore.

Batman: Arkham Knight – Be the Batman Trailer


Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment released a live action video from the upcoming Batman: Arkham Knight game. Directed by Tim Cronenweth and Jeff Cronenweth (director of photography for Gone Girl, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and Fight Club), with Trent Reznor serving as music consultant, the Official Batman: Arkham Knight Trailer – “Be The Batman” features “The Wretched” by Nine Inch Nails and showcases everyday people being determined, courageous and fearless as they rise to become the Batman.

April Update for Xbox One Out Now


The April system update is rolling out today, bringing you another round of new features that will make your favorite Xbox One experiences even better. Whether you want easier access to game content, troubleshooting help with party chat or improved achievement notifications, we’ve got something for everyone this month.

Party chat improvements

Over the past few months, we’ve added additional icons and notifications within the party chat experience to help you understand your connection and microphone status. This month, party chat is being improved with troubleshooting guidance for Xbox One owners. The party app will help you get your microphone enabled and show you when privacy settings or networking issues are blocking communication with particular party members.

Tribal Wars 2 new second village feature speeds up game start

InnoGames just implemented a new feature into its online strategy game Tribal Wars 2, which significantly speeds up the game progress in the beginning. From now on, players will be able to get a second village by fulfilling quests within five days. Additional villages will have be captured like before. With this updated system, players will reach the mid-game quicker.

“Tribal Wars 2 is essentially about managing a whole empire, moving troops from one village to the other and performing strategic attacks on enemies”, InnoGames’ Senior Product Manager Nino Protic explains. “However, it currently takes players up to two weeks until they have their second village and know this gaming experience. We wanted to change this so players will now get the full gaming experience way quicker and easier.”

TownCraft, the chill-out crafting and city-building game is now available on PC through Steam

Fans of crafting games and city-builders can now enjoy TownCraft on PC through Steam and other good digital retailers as the iPad hit makes its way to desktops.

TownCraft is a chill-out game in which players are tasked with transitioning from being alone in the wilderness, crafting their first hatchet, to running their own small medieval village. Peasants, merchants, kings and queens will slowly populate the player’s town as they create a thriving miniature medieval economy from scratch.

Marvel’s DareDevil TV series first trailer revealed

Today Marvel Studios and Netflix have revealed the first official trailer for their upcoming series, DareDevil. The series stars actor Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock / Daredevil. It is the first in a series of shows that will lead up to a Defenders crossover miniseries, and is produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studios, with Steven S. DeKnight serving as showrunner, and Drew Goddard acting as consultant for the 13 episode show as well. Here is t he official premise of the show:

Parkour founder David Belle partnered with Dying Light

It has finally been revealed that David Belle – actor, stunt coordinator, and founder of parkour – cooperated with Dying Light developers Techland to help bring authentic parkour to the gaming world. Techland worked with David Belle to verify the depiction of parkour in Dying Light, test its authenticity and even got his personal approval before the game hits stores. The video ‘David Belle & Dying Light – Zombie Parkour’ documents his input on the game.
