Deck of the Week: Dark World

I’m not very experienced with Dark World decks and now I know why. I don’t like how the dark worlds work. From what I experienced it’s all about luck the entire duel. Some might say “Isn’t Yugioh always about luck?” well not necessarily; you can have a deck so well built that every single time you draw you will get a good hand. For example, my fairy deck is so well packed together that I will always have a good hand.

One of the main reasons most decks aren’t good is because they don’t have enough monsters. Almost every deck can be good with more monsters and less traps spells. I experienced this problem with Dark World. Like I said I’m not very experienced with Dark World so if someone that’s a little more advanced with Dark Worlds could give me an idea on how they work I would appreciate it.

Even if I don’t like how this deck plays it still is a overall good deck. I sometimes won with this deck and sometimes lost with it so it’s not an amazing deck but average. I’ve seen some people dominate duels with this deck and some people do horribly with it so I do know this deck can be good I just can’t find a good layout for it.

I recommend this deck for the average Yugioh player. Dark Worlds are not very hard to get use to but finding a good lay out might be a hassle. I recommend finding someone that has been using Dark World for a while to give you a deck lay out. Happy Dueling.

  1. lol I run a Dark World deck. Whole point of it is to get all your monsters on the field as fast as possible and one shot them before the other player gets to do anything. Very fast but if you don’t calculate your moves you could be left w/o a hand or field. My favorite deck by far. 🙂
