EA Wants You To Pay $10 To Play Online?


EA announced on Monday that beginning with in June 8th with the release of Tiger Woods 11, all the future EA Sports games on  the PS3 and Xbox 360 will be a one-time, game-specific “Online Pass” code, which lets you get access to “online services, features and bonus content.”the code comes free with any new copy of any EA Sports game, the code can only be used once. If you Buy the game used or rent it you wont be able to play the game online unless you pay up 10$ for an additional pass, their is a free seven-day trial period with each game.

Peter Moore EA Sports president said “This is an important inflection point in our business because it allows us to accelerate our commitment to enhance premium online services to the entire robust EA SPORTS online community,”

On the xbox 360 You already pay Microsoft 60$ to play online and now you have to pay EA 10$ for each game, if you rent or buy the game used.Do you guys think this is fair?
