METAL GEAR SOLID SNAKE EATER 3D is now available

Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. today announced METAL GEAR SOLID SNAKE EATER 3D for the portable Nintendo 3DS™ system is now available. METAL GEAR SOLID fans can now explore the immersive jungle setting as it comes to life using the Nintendo 3DS glasses-free 3D imaging system.

Set during the Cold War of the 60s METAL GEAR SOLID SNAKE EATER 3D sees series hero Snake infiltrating the Soviet jungle to bring back a scientist being held against his will. Beginning on the outskirts of a military base, the player must use Snake’s stealth skills along with the foliage and shade that the jungle offers as cover to infiltrate unseen. As the game progresses, old faces make unwelcome appearances and a series of terrifying boss characters must be defeated before leading up to a dramatic twist that brings Snake face to face with a key figure from his past.

“The new technology and graphics used in METAL GEAR SOLID SNAKE EATER 3D for Nintendo 3DS are what make this release most exciting,” said Tomoyuki Tsuboi, President of Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. “Fans of the original title will enjoy the new 3D and camouflage elements but will appreciate that the themes and concept of the original title are still present.”

Highlights of METAL GEAR SOLID SNAKE EATER 3D include:

• 3D elements: The atmosphere interacts and comes to life with series hero Snake. Springing to life in an immersive experience, the jungle’s dense foliage and craggy outcrops realistically brush past as Snake moves through them and the many creatures that inhabit the terrain interact and attack if disturbed by Snake. Adding to the jungle habitat, creatures within the world can also be killed and stored as rations – highlighting how Snake must also overcome his surroundings while undercover on his mission.

• Camouflage photography: Within the game, Snake can alter his ensemble to match and blend in with his immediate environment and the possibilities can range from brick-colored fatigues within buildings, to the classic camouflage khakis of the jungle. Users can now take a picture of real-life items and create a camo suit based on them – although the extent of its effectiveness will vary depending on how well your pictures blend with Snake’s environment!

• Dual-screen format: Enabling easier access to Snake’s inventory, which is now located below the main action and also supports gyro synchronization for special actions like balancing on narrow ledges that will draw players further into the world of MGS. Similarly, targeting enemies is now made simpler with the addition of Circle Pad Pro-compatibility, with the second Circle Pad allowing users to target distant foes with ease.

METAL GEAR SOLID SNAKE EATER 3D is rated M for Mature by the ESRB and is now available for purchase at retailers nationwide for an SRP of $39.99 for the Nintendo 3DS.

Rayman Origins PS Vita Trailer

Rayman Origins released on PS Vita on February 14th, 2012, and on Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii in fall 2011. The PC version will be available as a PC Download on March 29th, 2012.

Interactive Entertainment and CD Projekt RED have released a brand new teaser trailer offering more insight into the hotly-anticipated RPG, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition, coming soon to the Xbox 360 console and PC. The video runs a minute long and features in-game footage of the game’s beautiful environments and intense melee combat. Update on our $1000 MW3 Team Tournament

We just need 4 teams left to be set we’re also taking a few “back up teams” in case of no shows the deadline will be at our next MW3 weekly tournament which is the 3rd of March. if we don’t get these last few teams then we’ll have to postpone the event to a later date to hopefully gain more teams and we will move on to begin the sign ups for our large $1000 Gears of War 3 team tournament.

Pokemon TCG Dark Rush

This is the new and upcoming set for the Pokemon TCG Black and White series. As you can tell from the title, this set will follow Dark type Pokemon and power them up with the all new trainers they have coming out. Just like Next Destinies, they are bringing back old Pokemon and the EX`s as well. One of the few and one of my favorites is Darkrai-EX, but they still have a lot more to be announced. But Because the set contains many Stage 2 evolutionary families, Dark Rush also contains a reprint of Rare Candy. There are also some rumors that the next set to be released is the actual dragon type set with the all new dragon type Pokemon, not normal. But since it was going to be a small set in Japan, it might be included in this one, though unlikely, its still very possible. There is still no confirmed release date for this set yet, but once there is ill will let all of you know.
