Sony Computer Entertainment EuropeÃ‚Â will hold a celebration event for the 15th Anniversary of the Gran Turismo franchise and its future on May 15 in Northamptonshire, United Kingdom.
The event will be supported by manufacturers including Audi, BMW, Ford, Honda, Jaguar, KTM, Mercedes-Benz, Tesla and Toyota, who will be displaying a range of old and new vehicles.Ã‚Â Nissan PlayStationÃ‚Â GT AcademyÃ‚Â stars will also be showing off their racing skills with high-speed laps around the famous circuit, which has never featured in a Gran Turismo game.

The original Gran Turismo launched in Japan in December 1997 before releasing globally the following year. Gran Turismo is Sony’s best-selling franchise to date, with unit sales of almost 68 millionÃ‚Â as of November 2012.
