At today’s Metal Gear Solid 25th anniversary event in Japan, director and creator of the video game Hideo Kojima and Konami computer entertainment Japan confirmed the production of a live action Metal Gear Solid movie. It will be associated with Columbia pictures studios. Producing the movie will be none other then Avi Arad along with his brother Ari, who were also on stage present at the event.Ã‚Â Speaking at the event Arad seemed confident in transferring the gameÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s charm to the big screen, saying:
“For many years I fought to bring comics to theaters – and video games are the comics of todayÃ¢â‚¬Â¦ We will take our time and tell the story with all the nuances, ideology, cautionary tales needed.”
No more further details were said about these great news but we can be assured that this will definitely be a movie many fans of the video game franchise around the world can surely start getting excited for.
