“Oldboy” Red Band Trailer

Above is a red band trailer for the up coming remake of Park Chan-wook “Oldboy” the film with the same title is was directed by Spike Lee and stars Josh Brolin. The trailer looks great seem to be a great remake from the original. What do you guys think about the trailer.

“OLDBOY is a provocative, visceral thriller that follows the story of an executive (Josh Brolin) who is abruptly kidnapped and held hostage for 20 years in solitary confinement. When he is inexplicably released, he embarks on an obsessive mission to discover who orchestrated his bizarre and torturous punishment only to find he is still trapped in a web of conspiracy and torment. Co-starring Elizabeth Olsen and Sharlto Copley, OLDBOY was directed by Spike Lee, from a script by Mark Protosevich (I Am Legend, The Cell, Thor). The film was produced by Roy Lee, Doug Davison and Nathan Kahane.”

This film is set to release October 25.

  1. Granted I hate remakes but I will have an open mind about this remake. Its Spike Lee, I cant see him doing a bad job plus the people who worked on the script sure to be a good story. I wasn’t a fan of the Evil Dead being remade but I loved it, it still had the gag humor that I loved so much from the first movie, just don’t think anyone really understood it…lol I hate remakes of horror movies but eh wasn’t as bad as Halloween! lol
