Wired Entertainment have just released Rocketeer HD a puzzle game  for the iPad. The goal of the game is very simple. Players must fire off their rocketeer from the launch pod to the blue vortex in order to advance to the next level. Each level is populated with varies obstacles that will try and keep from your goal, Such as laser turrets, planets of  different size and color, asteroid fields. Your rocketeer can only be fired in a straight line . This is where the planets come into play. Each planet has it’s own unique set of gravitational pull that will help you guide your planet to the vortex.
You can launch up to four rockets at a time, with your goal to solve each level using the least amount of launches, although you can fire off as many as you like. Once solved, you can go back and attempt to reduce your score for each level The first version of the game ships with 80 levels, but Wired Developments is already working on more for the next update Available for iPhone and iPod touch, and for iPad in the shape of Rocketeer HD. Iv’e been playing Rocketeer HD for the last couple of days my only complaint is that I would like to option to play the music from my iPad.
One addition I would like to see is multi-player. Imagine you and a friend battling against each other while avoiding asteroid fields, plasma turrets and use your brain to use the planets and their gravitational pull to your advantage to take the win and guide your rocketeer to the vortex.
Rocketeer HD for the iPad by wired entertainment is by far is one of the best games I’ve played in recent time. The game is as much fun as its addictive loaded with a library of over 80 levels that will be growing as the weeks go on. Rocketeer will only get better and bigger with time, I would recommend it to anyone with an iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad to give Rocketeer a try with a price tag of $0.99 how could you go wrong. I guaranty once you pick up the game you will have a hard time putting it down.
