A recent post on Famitsu reveals new DLC for Final Fantasy XIII-2…or is it Mass Effect?

The new DLC gives characters N7 Armor from Bioware’s Mass Effect Series and two new Coliseum monsters, Ultros and Typhon. The DLC is planned to release in Japan later this month, and will cost 240 Microsoft points ($3), and hopefully this DLC makes its way out of Japan to everyone to the fans of both series.

Here are the latest screenshots for the newly released DLC for Final Fantasy XIII-2. It is available now for both Xbox and PS3.

Today is January 31st and also marks the day SQUARE ENIX releases Final Fantasy XIII-2 to North America for Xbox 360 and PS3. As an added bonus for today it was also announced that there will be many more DLC’s to come after today’s release. SQUARE ENIX announces that “extensive additional downloadable content is planned for Final Fantasy XIII-2, for both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3″.

The first DLC will be an all-out coliseum battle. you against both friends a foes from past Final Fantasy titles. Opponents you defeat will be able to be recruited into your party for future battles.

Square Enix just released a new trailer showing the new and improved environments. Like always Square Enix has amazing graphics and looking at the trailer it looks like its nothing short of amazing and stunning.

Another great trailer form Final Fantasy XIII-2. The stunning graphics are back and the gameplay cinamatics are just as smooth as before. The release date for Final Fantasy XIII-2 is currently set for 1/31/2012.
