This week my friends from Konami gave me the honor of reviewing a new Yugioh set that just came out, which is called Shadow Specters. Shadow Specters releases some new monster arc types and adds on to some popular ones as well. Mecha Phantom Beast make a small appearance, Archfiends make a comeback, Bujins are resurrected, Noble Knights make an honorable return and vampires are furiously out for blood. All these arc types make a comeback in this set and making a debut to the Yugioh world, ghostricks. All these arc types gain a big power boost in this set alone, which gives you the necessary evil to bring down your opponent.

The undead are front and center in this set, with a whole series of new Vampire monsters, spells, and traps, such as Crimson Knight Vampire Bram (SHSP-EN054). Crimson Knight Vampire Bram can detach its Xyz materials to raise fallen enemy monsters as its own loyal soldiers., it allows a Duelist to target a monster in an opponent’s Graveyard and Special Summon it.
I have been waiting for a new legendary collection ever since Yugis World was released last year and what a great set to follow it up with. Joeys World brings some great cards from a whole bunch of opponents that Joey had faced in the past. This set includes cards from Rex Raptor, Mai Valentine, Bandit Keith, Bones, Espa Roba, Weevil Underwood, and of course Marik Ishtar. All were very powerful duelist that pushed Joey passed his own limits to become a better duelist and ended up becoming one of the greatest of all time in my book. Like I said this set includes the key cards of his opponents and a lot of Joeys cards that have been reprinted into different rarities. So my friends from Konami sent over a set so I can tell you what I think of them.
Besting more than 1200 Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME (TCG) players in highly competitive and, at times, nerve-wracking play, Merlin Schumacher from Munich, Germany achieved the top prize of being crowned the Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series (YCS) winner, this past weekend in San Mateo, CA.
Additionally, Nolan Galvao from San Lorenzo, CA displayed his dominance, by claiming the title of YCS San Mateo Dragon Duel Champion! Duelists, born in 2001 or later, traveled from across California and the Southwestern United States to this premier-level event hosted by Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. (Konami). The Dragon Duel winners from Saturday and Sunday, Nolan Galvao and Kozavid Duncan, respectively, squared off to find out who was going home with the trophy and the big time reputation. As the final cards were flipped over and played, it was Galvao who edged Duncan.

This week on yugioh card of the week in gonna be talking about one of my favorite cards since its release. This card was just released not to long ago in the structure deck saga of the blue eyes white dragon and boy let me tell you it is one badass card. Everybody that plays Yugioh should know about this card and know how broken it is and how devastating it is in this current format. I am of course talking about Maiden with Eyes of Blue.
As the end of summer draws near and fall approaches there is still plenty of time to Duel, so players need to head to their local store to be the first to get the Deluxe Edition, a new configuration from Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. The debut Deluxe Edition will land on store shelves nationwide on September 29th with the release of Judgment of the Light: Deluxe Edition, which comes in two collectible storage box designs featuring the magical Prophecy or mystical Number C39: Utopia Ray Victory themed artwork.
What’s up every one today I’m gonna start up my card of the week again. The cards I look for have lots of potential in any deck and can offer a lot of help to duelist, beginning or advance. The card that I have chosen is from the new yugioh set Judgment of the Light and its non other Star Eater.
Each year Konami delivers a highly anticipated product. And this year is no different as they released the first wave of the 2013 Yu-Gi-Oh! The new forbidden and limited list for the Yugioh TCG is just devastating to a lot of meta decks and even slaps the face of a lot of support cards for the regular decks. First off all of the small dragon ruler cards are now on the forbidden list that makes the dragon ruler decks pretty much slow as hell.
Whats up Yugioh fans today is the release of the brand new set called Judgment of the light. This brings us back some of our favorite arc types such as fire fist, madolces , and of course the numbers. This set is bringing back, what thought to be dead cards, syncros. This set is seaming to be very promising to what it has to offer as a lot of cards from this set can and will be used in a lot of decks out there. I’ll give some of my thoughts later on when I’m able to experience it more but until then enjoy the new set.

Hello fellow gamers on FBG and welcome to the first of hopefully many TCG reviews. This week my friends from Konami sent over some packs to check out and give you guys a review of what I think about them. This week they sent me over some packs of the recently released Number Hunters. This a 60 card set containing 20 secret rates and 40 super rates. These packs are very similar to the Hidden Arsenal sets in the way of 5 cards per pack, 4 super and 1 secret rare , and most cards in the set can be used in todays decks. This set follows the number cards which is based on the tv show Yu-Gi-Oh Zexal, where the main character Yuma Tsukumo is trying to find these number cards for his alien friend Astral, as each number card holds part of his memory, the crew need to find them all and get them back to Astral before they wind up in the wrong hands.
After the massively popular Legendary Collection 3: Yugi`s World, Konami decided to move forward with the Orichalcos saga. This set will bring cards from all of joeys past from duelist kingdom, battle city, and waking the dragons story lines. This set will contain almost 300 cards from the past duelists such as joey, Mai, Marik, and Rex. Each box will contain 3 brand new cards never released yet in the Yugioh card game series. Joey`s Blue Flame Swordsman, Mai`s Harpie Lady Phoenix Formation, and Marik`s Cards of Last Will will all be included in each box, no word yet about the release of the dragon cards from waking the dragons storyline yet. (Side note) due to the awesome power of the card, Cards of Last Will, it will not be tournament legal but it will still be good to use in a Marik Theme deck against your friends. If the set is packaged the same way as the previous set, they will most likely include more promo cards, a game mat, and 5 Legendary Collection 4: Joey`s World Mega Pack. Each pack should have 5 commons 1 rare, 1 super rare, 1 ultra rare, and 1 secret rare. No set release date was confirmed yet, but Konami Said sometime in October 2013. Who knows maybe next year Konami will release Kaiba`s World… Here’s hoping.
