Tom Brady Signs 3 year Contract Extension

New England Patriots fans can rest easy for the next few years, Patriots quarterback back and future hall of famer Tom Brady has signed a three year contract extension throughout the 2017 season. Tom Brady may have come up short in the playoffs but is still coming off another great year overall. Tom Brady threw the ball this past season for 34 touchdowns, only 8 interceptions, and 4,827 yards. The 35 year old quarterback is showing no signs of slowing down and of course the evil genius himself Bill Bilichick recognized this and made sure that Tom Brady will be a Patriot until Brady is past 40 years old.

With signing brings a lot of questions as to who else will New England try to keep in free agency? The Patriots are set to lose twenty-three players to free agency. Star wide receiver and also Tom Brady’s go to man Wes Welker is the biggest name on the list for free agents for New England. How much money after the Tom Brady extension is left to make a solid push to keep the league’s leading receiver in receptions over the last five years, and how will New England address the other issues at defensive back? Only time will tell and only Bill Belichick knows. If anyone can maintain a playoff team and Superbowl contender, it’s the evil genius!
