A demo for Capcom’s anticipated new action-rpg Dragon’s Dogma is scheduled to be available for download on PSN and Xbox Live on Tuesday, April 24th. In the demo, you’ll be able to use two of the various classes to be included in the whole game, with their own playstyles.
The first playable class in the demo is a fighter, who uses a sword and shield and has a hack-and-slash type gameplay (said to be similar to the Devil May Cry franchise). You play through a prologue quest that takes place before the events of the main game, that builds up to a boss battle against a Chimera.
You’ll also be able to play as the strider, who relies on climbing atop enemies (like in Shadow of The Colossus). You’ll be battling against an airborne Griffon that takes place over an open field.
Also included in the demo is the game’s character customization system, and you’ll be able to create your own unique character. You can also import your created character into the main game once its released next month. Be sure to download the demo if you want to try this game out next week!
