If your a fan of the board game Risk then you would love this game it has a mix of Risk style strategic game play and Command and Conquer/RTS field battles. You start the game in the “global” view where you can view everything that’s going on and yours and your allies and enemies territories you’ll also see resources and a hub that lets you know whats going on and advice on what to do. If you haven’t played any of the War Leaders then i recommend you play the tutorial before getting started it really help to figure out everything the Hub does and how to control your armies in the battle field.
Being that i’m a huge fan of RTS games and Risk I loved this game’s gameplay if you know anything about history then you know who you can control (the Allies and the Axis) so far i’ve used everyone except France and Italy. The group i’ve used the most is of course the US for its huge amount of resources and economy down side to them is that it takes afew turns to “travel” to the action which is kinda annoying at times if you want to get straight into the action choose someone in Europe.
On the battle field you can control your armies CC style with amazingly great graphic of the battle (i really didn’t expect them to be that good) on another note of the “battle field view”  you can always chose to skip it and just rely on your forces to do the fighting which can occur on land, sea and air.
War Leaders: Clash of Nations is a great PC game that i would recommend it to everyone if your a RTS fan or not you’ll enjoy this game i give it a 9 out of 10.
