Yugioh 2015 Mega Tins Review

Hey fellow duelist and welcome again to another yugioh review. Today I have an amazing product to review for you guys thanks to my friend from Konami.

Today I will be talking about the 2015 Mega Tins. Now the mega tins were introduced last year and they were a huge hit in the U.S. and Konami saw that, so they made the 2015 tins. There are two different version of the mega tins, one with Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon and the other is Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon.

Odd-Eyes also came with Majesty’s Fiend and Elder Entity Nordan. Then Dark Rebellion came with Castel, the Skyblaster Musketeer and Old Entity Hastorr. Now each tin comes with some amazing promos that were hard to obtain and also some brand new cards that were never before released in the States. But the card that a lot of people were waiting for was Elder Entity Norden.

Nordens effect reads, ” 1 Synchro or Xyz Monster + 1 Synchro or Xyz Monster, When this card is Special Summoned: You can target 1 Level 4 or lower monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it, but its effects are negated, also banish it when this card leaves the field”.

If this is paired with Instant Fusion, then you can make some pretty decent plays off of just one card, which is amazing in this era of Yugioh.

Then there’s Old Entity Hastorr, his effect is,”1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
If this card is sent from the Monster Zone to the Graveyard: You can target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; equip this card from your Graveyard to that monster. That monster cannot attack, also its effects are negated. If this card leaves the field while equipped to an opponent’s monster by this effect: Take control of the monster this card was equipped to”. Not as good as Norden in my opinion, but it is still a pretty good card.

One of the other things that made the mega tins amazing back in the day was that they combined 4 packs into one set and made getting supers, ultras, and secret rares very easy to get. This time around Konami rounded up cards from Primal Origins, Duelist Alliance, The New Challengers, and Secrets of Eternity. So that means Burning Abyss, Artifacts, Qliphorts, Tellarknights, Infernoids and many more are included in one tin. Each tin contains 3 mega packs and each pack comes with 16 cards, 12 commons, 1 rare, 1 super, 1 ultra, and 1 secret. Now if you missed out on getting Dante, Virgil, and Denko, this is perfect time to try and get those amazing cards and add them to your collection.

I really enjoyed these tins and everything they have to offer. I love the promos in both and I did need a lot of the cards that were harder to find the first time around. The 2015 Mega Tins are the best value on trying to get rare cards and some amazing powerhouses into your collection if you were not lucky the first time around. This is why I feel the Mega Tins are the way to go and for only $19.99 they are an amazing value. I hope you fellow duelist consider on purchasing this product, you will not be disappointed. I hoped you guys enjoyed my review and let me know what you guys think of the Mega Tins and until next time happy dueling.
